Let me TELL you about today's commute-
I’m going to say that around 5:15, I walked down to the 23rd Street subway to get a local uptown C or E train.
Except for the fact that the uptown platform was deserted. Everyone was being rerouted to take a downtown train to 14th Street to pick up an express ACE. Why? Well, there was an “investigation” on the uptown local tracks.

So I’m at Dunkin Donuts on 24th & 8th today, getting coffee on my lunch break. As I’m about to open the door to enter, I see a frail-looking, tiny old lady on her way out. I hold the door open for her and patiently wait as she shuffles out.
Does she look at me?
No.
Does she thank me?
Nope.
Sorry that my parents raised me to be an upstanding citizen of this world. Bitch.
