I just watched "You've Got Mail" while I outlined...
That movie just gets me every time, you know? Every. Single. Time. I laugh and cry in all the same spots. It’s beautiful and devastating and heartbreaking and gives me hope. It’s the kind of hope that makes me think I never know what’s around the corner until I get to tomorrow.
Listen, I GET IT.
The Yankees clinched a spot in the playoffs yesterday. I GET THAT. But Girardi did not trot out the AAA team tonight because of that. He used our regular line-up to win. But what happens? Javy Vasquez is our starter and all those hopes and dreams of winning another game and possibly advancing to an AL East title went out the door. The game should just be called the second Javy takes the mound.
